Introduction of gabion box

Gabion box is made of low-carbon steel wire, the steel wire is woven by hexagonal machine,

The wire are hot dipped galvanized wire or galvanized wire with PVC Coated with high corrosion resistance, high strength and ductility.

According to ASTM A 975 and en10223 standards, the diameter of galvanized low-carbon steel wire used varies according to the engineering design requirements.

Generally, it is between 1.5-4.0mm, the tensile strength of the steel wire is not less than 38kg/ ㎡, the weight of the metal coating is generally higher than 245g/ ㎡, and the edge line diameter of the gabion mesh is generally larger than the wire diameter

Material of Gabion box

(1) Galvanized steel wire: high-quality low-carbon steel wire, with a diameter of 2.0mm-4.0mm, and a tensile strength of not less than 380MPa. The surface of the steel wire is protected by hot-dip galvanizing. The thickness of the galvanized protective layer is made according to customer requirements, and the maximum amount of galvanizing can reach 300g / m2.

(2) Galfan steel wire, which is a new material in the world in recent years, has corrosion resistance more than three times that of traditional pure galvanized steel wire. The diameter of the steel wire can reach 2.0mm-4.0mm, and the tensile strength of the steel wire is not less than 380MPa.

(3) Galvanized steel wire wrapped with plastic: high-quality low-carbon steel wire, wrapped with a layer of PVC or PE protective layer on the surface of the steel wire, and then woven into gabion nets of various specifications. This protective layer will greatly increase the protection in highly polluted environment, and through the selection of different colors, it can integrate with the surrounding environment.
